History and Philosophy |

Newport Vineyards was originally planted
in 1977 in world famous
Newport, Rhode Island. Under the ownership of John and Paul
Nunes, it has grown to 6O vineyard acres and the property is planted
with 8 varieties of wine grapes. The company is proud to have won
medals for their wines including the 1998 first gold medal for "Great White".
ln 2006 Newport Vineyards is recognized as a
landmark attraction in Newport County.
